Your Chicken Recipe Could Win $100,000

A grand prize of $ 100,000 is cooking chicken America’s top 47th National Competition of cooking chicken are assigned to 4th May 2007, in Birmingham, Alabama

Fifty-one of the participants, one for each state and the District of Columbia, is chosen to compete. The chicken is the only recipe ingredients required for entry, and can be prepared wholly or in part or in any combination of parts. Pre-cooked, pre-marinated chicken products and land are eligible.

Participants can have an unlimited number of recipes. Everyone should be on a sheet of paper and the candidate’s name, full address and phone number included.

The judge, a national group of food experts and journalists will choose the winning recipes based on taste, appearance, simplicity and global appeal.

Second place is awarded $ 10,000, third place gets $ 5,000; finish fourth is $ 2,000, and fifth place will receive $ 1,000. Each finalist was a cost paid trip to Birmingham for the cook-off winner.

The competition is sponsored by the National Chicken Council and U. S. Poultry and Egg Association. Members of the Alabama Poultry Federation will serve as the local host.

The main prize of the 46th National Chicken Cooking Contest in Charlotte, NC, took place in May 2005, went to Camilla Saulsbury Indiana participants Mahogany Broiled Chicken with Smoky Lime for their Cilantro Chimichurri and sweet potatoes.
